Maths Functional Skills

One of the main challenges for teachers, particularly Maths teachers is providing feedback to their learners. Marking and grading work is very time consuming and learners are often unable to get feedback on whether their individual answers are correct or incorrect.

ICT provides the opportunity for all learners to get instantaneous feedback on their answers without reference to their teacher. This, by its nature, helps to motivate learners and frees up teacher time to further support their learners.

As with existing NWLG resources, the Maths Functional Skills content will maintain high levels of interactive and engaging content. Interactive activities will provide learning and testing opportunities for the learners with main Mathematical concepts being explained through interactive tutorials.

All content has been authored and the resource is now being developed.  Sample content will soon be available to give the opportunity to see how the completed resource will appear.
